Holly days again

i have decided i am a lucky pup

Had yet another holiday this weekend - went to the Lake district with sooo much swimming and water it was great.

Saw some very big dogs - think mum called them cows - was very brave and wanted to play with them when they were in the distance but when we got close they were much bigger than me and i didn't like the way they followed me - very unsettling but i was OK as they can't climb stiles so had a lucky escape there! Pretend i wasn't frightened but my legs did wobble a little. The the small white fluffy dogs (sheep) were much better - mum says i need stock lessons - so hopefully i can play with them again.

I did like the stream things as i could snuffle in the water around the rocks and pretended to dig for crabs - that was fun and i didn't get told off for digging - hurrah.

We had some walks along a big beach (Haverigg)- the sea was so far off you couldn't see it and i played in some dunes - they are fun and have very tall grass so you have to bounce a lot to see where you are. and lots more digging potential - getting quite good at it now - (wonder if mum will let me do some in the garden to keep my paws in practice).

Bestest bit of the holly day was meeting up with my big brother Bennet - he's wonderful - i knew it was him as soon as his mum opened the car door - i wanted to get in with him!! we had a run around a lake called Buttermere (no butter tho!!) and for a while we ran side by side - mum said we looked like one big ginger dog with 8 legs and 2 tails - we had such fun playing chase and king of the castle.
I tried to show him how to swim but i don't think he's got his speedos yet as he was a little shy of deep water. so we played in the shallow bits for ages.

His mum had some very yummy liver cake which was so nice i tried to use my xray eyes on her pocket but it didn't work - tho it did make it look like i was good at heel work tho - hopefully mum will make me some.

then we came home and i was very quiet all the way back- mum and dad thought i was sleeping until they got home and i tried to get into the fronth with them - i had been flossing my teeth on the harness thing that keeps me in the back of the car - not very good at either task really - but i think she'll buy another one !!

Mum says piccies will follow as they are on dads camera - must go for a snooze now as all this typing and running around has made me a little sleepy

Thanks to all who sponsored me for Cancer reasearch - i aimed for £50 and raised £65 so thanks once again.
Ejay has not been able to add much to her blog recently as we have had her far too busy training and being kept occupied - those with ginger monsters will know what i mean.
Huge thanks tho do go out to God Mum Amanda and Uncle Heinz for all the puppy sitting they have done whilst i've been playing petanque. i know she appreciates it coz she starts to get excited whining as we turn into the bottom of the road!!
